Charlie

Our sweet baby Charlie went to be with the angels in heaven on June 6th, 2011. He was called to do God's work from Heaven.

I know inquiring minds want to know what happened to Charlie. The only way I can put it is to just say it. He passed away from choking, on a pretzel. The rest of the details do not matter and I don't like to discuss them since talking about it will not change anything.

I would however love to share with you a video from one of the happiest days of sweet little Charlie's life - his baptism. It was the day after his birthday which happened to be the same day my mom passed away nine years ago. I actually didn't realize we had this video until my husband and I were going through our archives.

I hope you smile and love this video as much as we do. It completely shows Charlie's busy personality. :)Please, if you knew Charlie don’t ever let his memory fade. Mommy and daddy will always love you sweet angel Charlie! Rest in peace chunka munka.

  3. Really beautiful. I read once to lose a spouse you are a widower, to lose a parent-you are an orphan. But to lose a child there is no title to describe the loss. Im sending you a hug.

Sometimes I think having Faith is easy....I know my Father in Heaven loves me, I know He is real, I know my Savior Jesus Christ is His Son, and He sent Him here for me....He died for me, Lives again and loves me, and helps me pick myself up when I'm down. I know these things deep in my heart, but when faced with difficult challenges and trials, that faith to hold onto doesn't come easy! I have to fight for it! What gives me strength is to see amazing people like you rise and fight for it! It helps more than you'll ever know. I know you'll see Charlie again......he is so proud of you guys! thanks for your strength. WHat a beautiful memory of his baptism.
