To our dearest baby Charlie-
Happy Birthday sweet baby baby boy, today you would have been two whole years old. Today (and everyday) you have given us many reminders both big and small, that you are still around and watching over us. The crystal clear skies, the unusually warm weather that reminds me so much of our time spent out in the backyard exploring the dirt, the peaceful chirps of the birds all around the house and most of all the warmth and peace you place in our hearts. Yes, it is true we do still cry when thinking about how much we miss you and how much we wish we could hold you just one more time but at the same time we love knowing that you are in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
I especially love watching your brother and seeing all the similarities that he has and at the same time all the things that make him different and unique in his own way. We remember you everyday and say good mornin' each morning.

This made me cry for you Kate but also smile to know that sweet Charlie gets an awesome birthday this year and every year here after. Im so sorry for your pain but so happy to see how far you guys have come. Your truely beyond full of grace and strength, I dont know if I could be half the woman that you are.
ReplyDeleteSweet boy! Was that a little snort when he was laughing while playing with his doggie? Like momma? I heard that The Band Perry song yesterday while shopping. Made me think of you and Charlie. Still in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks y'all! We miss his so much but it is amazing how he is still touching people and changing lives from Heaven. I played that song yesterday for Cannon and he was very intently listening to it, almost like he knew. :) Everytime I see a rainbow I truly am reminded how he is in good hands.
