The cramming has begun....

No, I am not talking about cramming for school but rather cramming to get all my "chores" done before Sean gets home. :) Of course he never expects things to be done but as my dear friend Sara would say jokingly "I don't want to lose my privileges!" LOL

I did have some great pictures of some of the things I have done but...I dropped my iPhone in Charlie's pool on Sunday. Yes, I know....stupid. Anyway, I must have an iPhone angel out there because my phone has now been run over by a car (right in front of my eyes) and completely submerged in water and still works perfectly! I did immediately dip the phone in rubbing alcohol and kept if off for 2, almost 3, days. Between that and rotating it in a bowl of dry rice and putting it in front of the hair dryer on low heat it came back to life and without any problems! There are a couple of little water drops on the left side of the screen but they are hardly noticeable and eventually I can get the LCD screen replaced.

So anyway, about these great pictures I did have...Remember how I mentioned the pool filter had a part that needed changing and I was debating on whether or not to change it myself? Well, I did it. After a day of frustrations through the roof on my part I finally got it finished the next morning with the help of my neighbor (for the heavy lifting) and the pool immediately cleared up! Whoo hoo...that was one major thing I wanted to get finished before Sean got home. My dumb ass sat there for several hours trying to figure out how to get the sand in the filter because the pipe connecting the under drain (the piece I changed) to the motor was literally the exact length needed to seal it up. The solution you ask..pull the pipe from the motor. DUH. Like I said, it's confusing and I did have pics that would make it all make sense...I felt unbelievably dumb at that point but at least I figured it out on my own! Oh and yes, I did call the manufacturing company and the girl I spoke to was an idiot and just kept saying "take the old sand out and put the new sand in and put it together." No shit....

I didn't escape that fix though without a battle wound...LOL

That would be my left arm that I got stuck in the filter...

There is still so much to be done!

In other news I am almost 28 weeks and apparently I had a brain fart (this seems to becoming a regular thing for me lately) and was thinking 24 weeks was my 3rd trimester. Which technically it is since you are considered full term at 36 weeks but anyway. I got my weekly email update and it said "welcome to the 3rd trimester". So I guess I am now in my third trimester.

I was emailing my doctor about my concerns on the size I was and if everything was okay. She said that the ultrasound didn't should anything abnormal but the radiologist recommended another ultrasound at 24 weeks to confirm the due date. Apparently it was calculated differently than what she calculated. Which if you know anything about pregnancy that is a very common thing to happen as long as you are within a certain window of days. I was within the windows of a 14 day range (she couldn't tell me the exact date I am guessing because of HIPPA since it was over email) but she ordered another one for me to ease my mind. So I will be doing that, the glucose test (which I personally really liked the taste..am I weird?) and more routine blood work next week. So keep your fingers crossed, say prayers, channel your good vibes, or whatever it is you do towards us for good results for Cannon. :)

This is from one of our regular walks with Casie and the boys. Charlie reached over and started holding Colt's hand! SO precious! :)

He really likes Colt a lot! So glad we have such great friends as neighbors!

LOL

Watching GMA with mommy this morning...

Summertime is upon us....

Holy moly it's a hot one here today this is the temp when we left the zoo today at 1300!

We had another fun day filled with excitement at the zoo! Lots of animals, splash park, great company, and a special birthday was celebrated! Quito (the gorilla) had his bday party today! That is one thing our zoo does good. They always celebrate the animals birthdays and make it so fun for the kids.

I know, I know - picture overload on the same take. I just could resist because he actually kept that hat on for a good 15 minutes or more without even caring! It might have had something to do with the brownie he was eating. :-)

Charlie has begun to show a deep interest in giraffes. He gets SO excited to see them at the zoo and even snuck in a quick pet when the zoo keeper wasn't looking. shhh... ;-) He also has this hard plastic giraffe that he likes to carry, hug and kiss all the time! It is so cute. He is even trying to say the word but for now everything sounds like "dog".

That was a fun but tiring day...especially with no morning nap.

These are from the other day but I just LOVE them! When you take a picture of him and the flash is on this is what he does...

A few shots of Cannon's room. It looks better in person but is in serious need of some color...I must stay strong though!
