So in anticipation of great rain falls today we decided to stay in. We had a great mommy and Charlie day! =) We played Chase Charlie, peek-a-boo, read some books, played with Balou, and just chilled! This was definitely a great day to do this because Charlie is on another growth spurt - I think. He slept almost 14 hours last night and took two hour and half naps! Plus, he ate so much food today! One thing is for sure with him, we haven't ever worried about him eating - LOL
They are best buds already! Charlie always is giving him kisses =)
So, I did get a lot accomplished today during Charlie's naps. I am almost finished with the top layer of Cannon's quilt. I am going with the UofM theme again. We couldn't have one boy with MI and one without - not to mention I saw home videos of Sean when he was a wee little one and he was wearing UofM gear then! I am actually having a lot of fun with it. It is different and I know no one else will ever have the same bedding. Here are a couple of pics so far....
Cut, pieced and ready to slice in half to piece them together.
After slicing and re-piecing. All that's left is sewing each block together, pin, quilt and bind. I have missed my sewing machine so much! I should be finished with the comforter by next Wednesday which will be perfect because the Michigan fabric for the bumper and skirt should be here on Thursday!! Can you feel my excitement??
Until tomorrow....I am going to relax!
